Beth Shapiro, Director of Community Engagement and Art Teacher
Beth Shapiro, our current art teacher, is taking on the additional role of the Director of Community Engagement. Beth will be creating new and strengthening existing MileStone connections throughout the greater Philadelphia region. Beth is a lifelong Philadelphia resident. Her personal connections with our city genuinely enhance her understanding of Milestone’s goals and mission. Beth is a knowledgeable and passionate educator, particularly interested in creativity as a component for positive education, social-emotional growth and stress reduction. She lives in Elkins Park with her family and their Zoe, an Airedale who is training to become a service animal”.
