As 2020 comes to a close, many of us are simply grateful for, literally, surviving another 365 days. This year has been the most challenging for most of us and while we do not know what the future holds, we now know:
- We are survivors! Alone, anxiety, death, depression, fear, hunger, homelessness, loneliness, oppression, racial inequalities, sick, struggling financially, just to name a few. We are strong and we will survive.
- We work better together! Yes, some of us are completely alone, others have been cooped up in the same living space with family for almost a year. However, time and time again, we prove that there is strength in numbers and love will always conquer all.
2021 is the beginning of anything you want. Walk into 2021 with a clear heart and mind. Do not worry about your failures and focus on what you will try next. Love yourself enough to know you deserve more. Be brave enough to demand more. Practice working for more. Your entire life can change in a year, month, day, hour, minute, or second.
May the New Year bless you with health, wealth, and happiness.
About the Quote of the Week: Each week we will publish a positive quote submitted from a member of our community to inspire us all.
