Science with Ms. Appel

Science with Ms. Appel

Even with distance learning students can still be shocked with learning.

In the picture above, students are shocked seeing a video and learning about guinea worms in polluted water causing health issues in Africa.

It’s so rewarding to see their reactions, seeing the lightbulb go on, appreciating how lucky we are to live in a country with controls on pollution.

We challenge you to do your own science project! Science Buddies’ is a website that provides free high school science projects. They offer a perfect way for high school students to have fun exploring science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Plus, they allows students to choose to follow the step-by-step science experiment as written or put their own spin on the project.
