Welcome Mrs. Michelle Brown!
MileStone Academy’s New Director of Education
We are happy to announce the hiring of Mrs. Michelle Brown as our new Director of Education!
Mrs. Brown comes to MileStone with over 30 years of Education Experience in the School District of Philadelphia and Philadelphia area Charter School as both Principal and teacher.
Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Philadelphia. She was educated in Philadelphia public schools. She has her Bachelor of Sciences in Special Education from Penn State University, a Master of Education from Gratz College, and obtained her Principal Certification from Drexel University.
She has worked in the Philadelphia School System as a special-education teacher and as an administrator of several Philadelphia Charter schools.
During her career, Mrs. Brown has impacted the lives of so many students and their families. We are sure she will be a wonderful addition to the MileStone Academy family.
