MileStone Academy’s mission is to educate our students with complex learning challenges by fostering a nurturing and positive environment that uses research-based practices. We empower students to realize their strengths and capabilities by teaching self-advocacy skills and strategies for overcoming frustrations that will serve them well in their future endeavors.

MileStone Academy’s vision is to educate students with complex learning challenges so they become confident, productive twenty-first-century learners.

MileStone Academy is a co-educational high school for students in the 9th through 12th grades who have not flourished in other school environments due to the lack of interventions and resources.

We believe it is our responsibility to work with each student and their families to help them find their strengths and weaknesses, employ the proper interventions, and develop strategies and tools to enable our students to succeed.

We use a research-based curriculum aligned with the Pennsylvania Core Standards in a challenging, collaborative, and supportive environment, cultivating students who succeed in their high school and post-high school careers.
