Extended School Year Program

The Summer Institute at MileStone Academy is an umbrella of extended school year education (E.S.Y.) for 9th – 12th grade students. Students may choose which subjects they would like to strengthen or participate in a 444 part-time reading, writing, math, and free elect curriculum.

The 4.4.4. E.S.Y. Program was created by MileStone Academy educators after recognizing a need for further instruction of core fundamentals of schooling: Math, Reading, and Writing.

E.S.Y. stands for extended school year and 4.4.4. stands for:

4-hours of classroom instruction
4-days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
4-week program (July 12th – August 6th)

The 4.4.4. program starts on July 12th through August 6th. It will run Mondays – Thursdays from 9:00AM -1:00pm. Half of the time, students will focus on core fundamentals of education. Then, the students may take part in art, music, coding, and other activities of their choice.

We offer a customized curriculum and one-on-one student and teacher time.
