MileStone evaluates our instructional program on a regular basis to ensure its relevancy for our students. A group of school professionals and organizations join us in this assessment process.
Our program is successful because the staff, parents and students work together to enrich the educational experiences we offer. In this way, we can be assured our students will graduate knowing how to learn and how to be good citizens.
Educating resilient and confident students is a core part of Milestone Academy’s history. After realizing there were no high schools capable of teaching her son with language-based learning difficulties, Kathy Hunt, along with parents experiencing a similar need, founded Milestone Academy.
Equipped with a staff of professionals who specialize in teaching students with diverse learning challenges, Milestone educates in new and exciting ways. The 5:1 student to teacher ratio allows all students access to individualized lesson plans, the freedom of exploring innovative technologies, and an opportunity to grow their interests.

As the school continues to grow, it stays committed to its mission of creating more resourceful, dedicated, and happier students on the quest to achieve their own milestones.
